Steps to reset SBI login password, since you have forgotten
- Even though you have forgotten your password, you can reset your password and the steps are absolutely simple, and you can do it yourself.
- Resetting your password is not at all a big deal and after you have done it successfully, you will be able to run your SBI account smoothly just like you did it before.
Here are the steps as follows:-
- Visit the official website of State Bank of India
- A window will appear before you. Check the left side of the screen and click on the Login button for personal banking
- A new window will appear on your screen just after you have clicked on the Login option.
- Before proceeding any further, you will find a message popping up on the screen. Go through it thoroughly and then click on the button that says, Continue to Login
- Click on the Forgot Login password button
- Another pop-up window will come up on the screen. Now, click on the option “Forgot my Login password” from the drop-down menu that appears. Click on the Next button.
- Fill your user name, account number, country, registered mobile number as well as the date of birth on the screen as desired. It may also ask you to provide a Captcha
- Click on the Submit button
- Just as you have clicked on the submit button, you will be receiving an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP on the screen where required and then click on the Confirm button.
- On entering the correct OTP, you will be directed to a new screen. Here, you will see three options, namely, using Profile password. Without ATM card and profile password as well as using ATM card details. You can select any of the desired options among them to reset your login password. Click on the Proceed button
Getting two options, such as “Receive new login password by post” and another, like, “Reset your login password at the branch”, you can choose any of them and the process will occur accordingly.
